New Highlights for the New Year :P

Finally it's Thursday !!! woohooo..... so our featherbed just arrived today :) ouww heaven.. it's so soft... and comfy.. and oh my.. it's like sleeping on a huge feather pillow...!!! :) it's so thick too... now our bed looks ginormous..

Anyway.. this saturday my boss will have a New Year's eve party.. so we will go since he even spare his time to call me instead of e-mailing me or told lisa to call... well anyway.. I wanna see his house.. I heard it's huge... and his back yard is a golf course (not his.. but there's a golf course).

Went to my second job.. and guess what.. I got a gift from Mary-Lou (Mr. Wright's wife). I did an invitation design for her exhibition (pro-bono work). So she gave me a lovely black silk scarf... oh my.. I love scarf.. it's so classy !! :) hehehehe.

I got my pay check today !! :) woohoo ! :P heheheheh and got some bonus :P hehehehehe and got the laptop rebate... now time to pay the bills....

Carson honey... I love you... (heheheheheh announcing my love to the world) seriously he's the best husband in da world... he folds laundry.. clean the dishes... hmm... when was the last time I fold laundry... hmmm don't remember... Thank's hon....

Finally my book that I've been waiting for arrived in the mail today :) so happy... Remember when I told you guys that I made something for grandma as her Christmas presents.. I took some pictures but they're at my computer hard drive and I'm at my other job... so anyway... I made this cute felt dolls that I used to sell them when I was in HS... can't wait to make more !! :)

After the long weekend not working... I just realized how I miss work so much... I miss the argument between Lisa & Ryan... miss how eddie likes to bug me every 5 seconds... miss Nelson who always eat the cookies that I brought... missed Tanner's pink panera bread cup... heheheh basically I miss everything... :)

So Anyway... I was tired today.. feel so weak... good thing that Carson doesn't mind eating left over food... so we just ate left over food tonight.. :( still debating what we're gonna do this new year's eve... I don't feel want to party at all... and I'm kinda preparing my body for the up coming baby in 2007... so I promised my self... less cafeine (still struggling)... no alcohol at all (this one is pretty easy)... and try to relax......

Relax............ take a deep breath.... relax...... maybe I should do Yoga again....

Day after Christmas... got up by 11:00am... ate left over food... went to Kmart.. Carson bought me..

1. Eureka Boss Super Light (Vacuum cleaner for vacuuming the stair case)
2. Lysol Ready Brush (finally I can clean all the 4 bathrooms with no back ache)
3. 5.2lb Honey Crisp Apples from Hy-Vee (hahahaha I called Ringga right away to let her know Hy-Vee has 'em right now)

Now Carson is going to make me dinner :) isn't he the sweetest... Thanks honey.. I love you so much...

I have a gizillion things to do around the house... so I won't say much tonight. But all I can say that we had an awesome Christmas... the boys love the presents... mom & dad are happy... :) so does erica.. everybody's good... :)

But the most awesome gift I got this year (beside my iMac G5) is my awesome husband... and he gave me the most awesome in-laws... who pretty much my closest family I have since my mom lives back home (well I have Mel & Oke... but they're busy with their own family). I love you all !! :)

PS: Good news... my brother got an approval letter from the INS that he will get his greencard... so next year we all go back home together... woohoo !!!! another wedding reception back home !!! woohooooo...

we've been sleeping all day long and get as much rest as we could. Seems like Carson already feel much better.. not me.. I think I got Ryan's virus and Laurence cough of death.. hauhauahauhaua j/k... I think I'm just too tired...

Timmy... look.. look.. look at the computer screen !! (I swear I didn't mean to choke him)

After work I went to the mall.. the goal was to find something cute to wear for Christmas.. using a gift card from Chommany (thx chom). So I went to EXPRESS... and got myself a cute V-neck sweater. Managed only spending 87 cents :). BUT.. while I was walking towards the parking lot, passing thru the shops.. I was thinking... hmm that sweater has a really low cut at the front so I thought.. hmm I need a cute tank top that goes with it.. and I don't think I have any cute tank tops... so stopped by at GAP.. didn't find any.. went to Younkers.. nada.. so final stop .. JC Penny.. I got 2 tops because I like this one white tank top but all the size that they have are M & L & XL.. no S or XS.. Boooo so I got the pink color but the same style... and the other one I bought it because it's white and have a cute pattern on the front.. :) heheheheh so I ended up spending 18 bucks tonight !

Okie dokie I have a gizillion things to do tonight... need to do laundry... create DVD cover for carson and another DVD cover for something else.. 3 dvd covers due tonight !! o my gosh...

Some of you might know about Mr. Wright, he was in the hospital from Friday till today. He's home now but he makes me worry.. I know him since the first year I got here, and I always think he's like my grandpa.. I even feel much closer to him rather than my real grandpa. He just got back from the hospital today, and I saw him today ... he looks so pale and he looks like he lost a lot of weight since Friday. Mary-Lou (his wife) told me that he lost a lot of blood, I think it's something about internal bleeding caused by his stomach. I'm not really sure.. but he's home now. Well just keep him in your thoughts & prayers.

4 days till Christmas... how's everybody doing with your Christmas shopping... don't be to stress out.. :) it's a holiday to be jolly... Have a nice night guys... love you...

PS: Managed to stop by at Hy-Vee this morning to mail grandma's gift.. :) and I shared the cookies with my co-workers.

I went to the Cafe with the girls tonight (Lisa & Kristine), we had fun.. or at least I had fun :) hehehe good food .. good conversation... whatelse .. :) before I went to the cafe I stopped by at Hobby Lobby to get some supplies.. I'm going to make a Christmas present for Carson's grandma.. yeah I said.. MADE... not BUY ! :P hehehehehe it's been a while since I made these stuff. I used to make & sell these stuff when I was in High School... I bet Zevilla knows what I'm talking about, I gave her one of my wonderful creation :P heheheheh I will post it after Christmas otherwise it won't be a surprise for grandma :)

Anyhow... went back home.. Carson told me that we got a box full of cookies from our Realtor when we bought this house... how nice.. :) his name is Bill Jenning from Remax.. so whoever want to buy a house around Ames area... contact him okay :) hehehehe... yummy cookies.. still debating whether should I bring those to work or not... hehehe share or not to share...

Since I haven't made this stuff (the surprise) for so long.. it took me 1 hr to make one... so I made 2 tonight... I will take a picture before I sent them.

Shop all day long with ringga... went to lunch with chommany, vone & ringga.. they paid my lunch !!! huahauahua THANKS GIRLS !!! you're the best !! finally met Squirt (Chommany's dog)... he's such a cute dog!!! :) finished our Christmas shopping :) *yeah rite.. i think I said that weeks ago...* hehehehhe

My Friday wasn't great at all... I feel like a zombie the whole day. Started with woke up in the morning.. get ready to work.. and I just realized... I couldn't find my purse... and I stared freaking out since it's already 8:15 and I couldn't found it. After looking around the whole house I thought.. maybe I left it at Mr. Wright's car... so I called them up and they're not there.. I took my spare key from Carson and drove there and nobody at home... ooo shoot... so finally I decided to just go straight to the office... and work.. anyway to make the story short... I went home for lunch tried to trace back where was I last night... and I realized... I went to the other bathroom (guest bathroom upstairs) to clean up my make-up.. and I sat my purse on the floor !!!! gosh....

Anyway I'm planning to spend some times with the girls tomorrow... but we'll see... I'm so tired.. but I still need to enter those grades tonight... we'll see about that...

PS: yeah I was too lazy to make fancy food.. so I only make Fettuccini Alfredo with Broccoli... but I managed to baked some cookies during lunch hours for my co-workers :) hehehehehe

Chocolate fountain is da best !!! :) heheheh awesome day today.. but I'm so tired because after the party I went home only for 5 minutes, changed and then go to my next job. But Carson came to the office party, so I saw him about 10-15 minutes :)

We had so much fun... except my feet starting to hurt after 1/2 hour standing up... I wore my new boots that has about 7 inches heels.. heheheheh

So tonight I was supposed to turned in the Class grade... but for some reason the stupid access plus didn't allow me to enter the students grades... so tomorrow I have to work again!!! arghhhhh so mad !!! why oh why...

Overall my day was great, Ken installed my new machine.. now I have the best machine in the company !! and also not to brag... but I have a huge monitor too woohooo!!! :) also I get 2GB of RAM !!! isn't that awesome... hopefully these stuff don't affect my Christmas bonus... *crossing my fingers*

Tomorrow we will have our company 10th year anniversary.. still don't know what to wear !! gosh... but I can't wait to stand and hang out next to the chocolate fountain... hopefully nobody would dare double dipping !!! hauhauahua I'm to tired to type... zzZZZzzzzZZZzz maybe tomorrow I will have more strength to type. Carson brought me lunch today, because I don't want to go outside and drive in the snow... I'm so spoiled :) hehehehehehe

I was doing secretarial work.. but I get paid as a graphic designer ! :P ehehehehhehe It was fun tho... finally I can use my COM S 103 skills :P huahauahua spreadsheet.. mail merge... etc etc.

Went back home early coz I didn't take my lunch today, so went home around 5-ish, start cooking... I made Nasi Tim Ayam (Chicken Steam Rice). Turns out pretty good.. but it takes a while to make it.. (almost 1.5 hrs !!!) blah ! Now the food is ready waiting for Carson to eat 'em :)

I have no idea why, but seems like our cat likes to lay down on Morgan's dirty towel... these towels are the towels that we use to wipe out Morgan's paw when it's wet outside... I have a weird cat.... but I love him.. :)

Hmm.... I just realized even when I read my own blog... it makes me hungry too... so it's not only you cath.. :P hehehehe

but I made more for work tomorrow.. so don't worry... you guys can have some of my yummy cookies... you guys have to say thanks to carson who doesn't eat any form of sugars... otherwise these cookies are for him :) hehehehe oh my... our kids gonna be fat... I like to bake.. but I just don't like to eat them by myself you know... when vone still lived with us... I can feed her.. but now.. I don't have anyone to feed anymore !! :) hehehehe

Tonight menu was.. porkchop with asparagus (with hollandise sauce of course) and dinner roll.. :) yummy huh...

I still have laundry to fold.. but I'm too tired... anyway.. I just found out that we will have the 23rd & 30th off !!! :) woo hoooo...

The whole day I spent my day in the kitchen.. .I have no idea why.. started with lunch.. I made 'Carson's mom Wild Rice Soup' it turns out pretty good... not as good as hers... but I think it's acceptable... :)

Done with that... cleaned up the kitchen and started baking some sugar cookies for work tomorrow.. :) done with the cookies.. started de-frosting the meat for dinner...

I made red curry beef for dinner.. it's so easy but so yummy !!! I used the red curry paste (Mae Ploy Brand)

It's so simple... stir-fry about 3 tbs of the curry paste (depends on how spicy you can handle..) Carson is so good with spicy food now :) heheheand then you add 1/2 can of coconut milk... mixed them well.. add 1 lb stir-fry beef... and then add 1 cup of water... and about 2 or 3 teaspoons of sugars... and some salt.. and let it sit for 30-40 minutes.. and that's it !!!!

Slept till 11:30am !! :) yippieeee and finished wrapping all the gifts... got new pair of gloves for Carson.. didn't do any house chores :( except cook fried rice for dinner... Play with my new G5 all day long.. finally I finished installing Adobe Photoshop CS, InDesign CS, and Adobe formerly Macromedia Dreamweaver.. no Illustrator CS tho... just Adobe Illustrator 10..

hmm.. I think we bought more gifts this year than last year....

Yippie... I got my G5 !!! woohoo.. so my computer have a camera built-in to the monitor.. and it came tih a photo booth software.. hehehehe so cool huh... :) Thanks honey... love you !! :)

So we went to see Chronicle of Narnia movie just now... carson gave a B rate... because he said the book is better.. but I think this movie deserves an A... anyhow.. I'm so excited about my new computer.. I still need to install most of my graphic design related softwares on it.. probably tomorrow..

Guess who I saw at the movie theater tonight???!!! Neil (my ex co-worker) with his fiance Katie.. and after the movie I saw Lisa !! :) heheheh it was so weird because when I bumped into her i thought I bumped into a mirror since she's wearing almost the same scarf like I wear.. and at the same time I was like... "Hey I know her..." hauhauah nice to see you again lisa.. after 8 hrs seeing each other (every day!)... hehehehehe Anyway...

I'm gonna cook now.. and feed my hubby wubby... Love you all... have a great weekend...

Went to lunch with carson today, since I don't want to drive in snow.. at least I met him today... he's been up since 6:30am and left and I won't be able to see him until I got home from my second job.... so at least I can spent time with him, though it was only for 15 minutes.. :) good enough

Snowing all day long today... and I don't like it ! :P heheheh but when I got home.. after driving about 15 minutes to our house instead of 7 minutes.. hehehehe I drive like a turtle when it comes to winter...

but anyway.. checked our mailbox.. and I got a package from the Subakti's !! :) so I got so excited... and went inside and hurried open the box.. and there you go... I got a piggy bank.. a cute piggy bank.. and not stuffed with money.. but it stuffed with candies... taffies... yummy... but no money tho... tried to dig inside.. no check either... maybe I wasn't digging deep enough... I'll try again later :P hauhauahauhau just kidding !! mel.. oke.. thanks for the piggy... it's so cute... I love pigs :) (maybe this is why I live in Iowa huh??)

I shoveled our driveway this afternoon.. :) as a gift for my beloved husband :) heheheh I bet he's tired..

Tomorrow I have to get up early... blahhh but on the bright side... tomorrow is Friday !! Friday means... date night !!!! date night with my hubby wubby... :) nite nite....

Remember when I was laughing at Ryan because his shoes smell like gasoline..., anyway so today after work, I went to the oriental food store grabbed some ingredients for dinner... cashed my check.. and then I filled up my car.. what I didn't know was the gasoline was dripping on my shoes !!! and it smells !! so bad... went back home took off my shoes and the whole house smell like gasoline !!! arghhhhhhh

While doing the first load of our laundry I started cooking, I made Indonesian Noodle soup.. yummy and then carson went back home so I turned on the stove to warm up the soup... and guess what??!! I turned on the wrong burner and my burner cover got burnt !! and it stink up the whole house again !!!! gosh... I'm so clumsy today !!!

I better stop using this laptop... before something wrong will happend to it. No new lost tonight ! booo !!! I'm gonna mop the kitchen floor then.... ta ta

Nothing exciting happened today, work as usual, went home cook dinner for my beloved husband :) heheheh, took a shower.. (prepared for the coming king of the house hauhauahau)... cleaned the sink... dusted as much as I can... ate dinner... and now I'm at my second job :) hehehehe

gosh... I'm so tired cleaning our house sometime.. as I always say... this house is a big un-ending cleaning project... before buying a bigger house... note to yourselves... if you still complaining about cleaning your current place to live... don't buy a bigger one... heheheheheheh

Happy Birthday to me! Happy Birthday to me... happy birthday dear destri.. hehehehe so I had a great birthday this year :) Started with waking up next to my beloved good looking handsome gorgeous husband (he made me wrote this) hahahahahaha j/k and then at work Laura made this awsome chocolate chocolate cake...

so yummy... it's so rich! and then she went to Hy-Vee and got me some A&W rootbeer ! so awesome.. went back home with carson during lunch hour... and went back to the office.. at 3:00-ish we cut the cake.. and I was so stupid when they gave me the card I was just read briefly what people wrote in my card..

After eating the cake I went back to work... and suddenly my big boss came up to me and asked "Have you read the card?" and I said yes... I did... but actually I wasn't reading it carefully, he actually wrote "After you read this card, go home.. happy birthday" hauahuahauha so 3:50 I left home.. :P

I got home start doing what the book told me to do..

heheheh waited for carson to come home and we went to Apple Bee's and had steaks.. yumm... Went to Target and buy gifts for myself (using carson's mom gift) these are the things that I bought: - Floor Mop , - Glade wisp (the new house fragrance thingy), - dish towels, - eyeshadow.

That's it :) can't wait to mop our kitchen floor... but carson said no... I have to relax on my bday (that's what he told me... whatta nice guy). I'm going to relax now... still need to fold the linens.. and towels..

let's see my brother called at 1am wished me happy bday.. and then my mom called at 8:40am, after that ringga called too (I told her to do that) and got bunches of emails wishes me happy bday... ouwww how nice... and marcus & blayke called around 6-ish of course carson's mom talked to me too.. I think birthday is a great day to realize how people actually care about you and remember your birthday and spare some time to write or call just to say happy bday. Thanks guys.... I love you all so much !!

So yesterday I got 3 cards in the mail.. 1 Christmas card from carson's grandma and 2 birthday cards from grandma & carson's mom. Thank you so much.... so because the 3 cards look awesome I decided to take a snapshot and posted here. The first one is a bday card from grandma and then the middle one is the Christmas card from grandma and the last one is the bday card from carson's mom. Thank you so much once again...

Yesterday was snowing most of the day till 5pm, we went to Carson's office Christmas party, it was fun.. I met quiet a few new people.. so it was nice. And we did the gift exchange, and I got a really nice scarf. And then we went to Hasting after that and I got Ninentod DS game, and a book title "How Clean is Your House". Carson bought more gifts for his nephew... and I think now we're officially done buying Christmas presents.

Today I went to Best Buy to pick up carson's Christmas gift... I got him a new Toshiba M360 laptop. He needs it... for presentation and other school stuff... so I decided to get one... it's not that expensive plus I got 150 bucks mail in rebate !! :) woohoo...

Tonight I made Mee Ka Tee (recipe from Chommany & Vone). It turned out good !! yummy... but not as good as Vone's & Chommy's.

That's it... since we got the laptop now I can update my blog next to my hubby. So now we always together :P heheheheh usually he's in the basement and I'm at the second floor watching TV.. :)

Woohoo.... Last night I was so crabby because my car supposed to be done by 3 and I was planning to take my lunch at 3.. and nope my cars wasn't done then.. and I wait.... and I wait.. they called and told me it would be done by 5... so okay.... and then 5:30... and then finally at 6:15 !!! good thing that Lisa was waiting for someone to call her.. so she wait with me at the office.

I cancelled the dinner last night due to the weather condition.. I thought the weather would be bad.. but it's actually stop snowing around 6... man !! arghhh... so anyway.. got home safe and sound..

To cheer me up carson got me presents... for my bday combine with my Christmas gift.. because it's a big gift !! :) heheheheh ok first he gave me a Nintendo DS.. woohoo !!!! :) and then he gave me the Nintendogs Labs & Friends game !! :) double woohooo... and then the last but not the least...

After work I took my car to the shop, since the past month the car making this funny squilling noise everytime I start the car. So I brought it to my fav. shop, the one that carson doesn't really like :P heheheh because he always got trouble with them.. not me.. they're nice to me since I always spend tonsa money at their shop. So anyway they told me my antifreeze leaking bad .. something to do with the water pump.. and now my timing belt(?) got soaked... and gone bad.. so yada yada yada... spent all of my money to fix this stupid car..so there you go Merry Christmas destri !! huahauaha.. hmmpff..

got home... made beef satay... (with peanut sauce) yumm... got some packages in the mail for blayke's Christmas present and mom & dad presents too.. we're smart this year... buy everything ONLINE! :) hehehe it's cheaper that way.

Talked to ringga lil bit (little bit for us mean... 1/2 hour) heheheh so we decided... I'll get pregnant first... and then Chommany... and then ringga.. and then the three of us will be "The Prego Buddies" hahahahahahah

ok that's it... time to make the present for dad.... gosh.. I've been procastinating this past week. . but our house is clean tho... yeap I always clean to avoid doing something else.... clean clean clean..

Actually gasoline smell is not as bad as passing thru farm area in Carson's car... catch 22... you roll down the window stink... turned on the Air also make it worse... since for some reason his car doesn't have the function to just circulate the air inside of the car...
